PhxCreative.com will be undergoing a makeover shortly. Nothing big… I considered putting it on an open source platform, but nah, this is all mine, well, other than blogger, but not for long. I will be phasing blogger out for my own blogging engine, once I build it. But anyway, the site will be staying as is except for the width. I will be widening the site. Why? ‘Cause of Google. I figure, everyone has big screens, and if you have a small screen on my site, I just don’t really care anymore, so I am widening for content and bigger things and especially, for Google’s search results.

If you come here, like me, you may notice some changes soon. It should be quick and painless. Mainly image and css tweaks to make the change. Let’s see, it is 9:49, maybe I should try it now? Ready go…

I just created my first custom google search engine. I compiled a bunch of links that I have on my site, in my bookmarks (from various browsers and locations) and other sources and placed them into this custom search engine. Basically, this means that if you share the same interests as me, or you are a geek, you will find this useful.

If you are one of my students and you read my blog, then I suggest you bookmark the link that follows. As Google wants me to, I will continue to compile useful links and place them in this search engine. The ultimate goal for me being the single source for every question I have, for Google, it means much more. I am not sure who benefits most, but they will probably make more money in the long run.

Search for something industry related and see it in action

As is true for all holidays, Google changes out its logo with a special “holiday” version and then links to pages referencing the current holiday. Well, here is a new tradition at PhxCreative, I will link to Google’s link. Why? Just because, that is my answer and I am sticking to it.
