My ultimate dream is to just tell my fridge what I always want and have it do an autoreplenish order, and then be able to add impromptu items. Every Friday, my refrigerator places an order to the grocery store, then they send a delivery kid to bring me my groceries, which have already been paid for via credit card by my fridge. Then all I have to do is tip the delivery boy and eat. Gimme that technology, within the next 10 years please.

Today, PetSmart.com, StateLineTack.com and Petsmart Training all go live with revamped looks and more user friendly experiences. I am very proud of all three of them, the people involved and I have all worked very hard to make these come to life. It was a team effort and we pulled together and made some very significant improvements to the sites.

They are all listed in my showcase now because I am very proud of the results of all of our work. Now we just need to see if all of our hard work pays off. Hopefully, we didn’t just do this all to impress ourselves, but rather to improve our customers’ experiences and make shopping much easier and more enjoyable. Wish us luck!

eBay’s Safe Payments policy states that a payment service must have a “substantial historical track record of providing safe and reliable financial and/or banking related services.”

Google’s spokesperson said yesterday, “Google Checkout is not a beta product. Google has a long history in billing and payments for AdWords and for premium services, such as Google Video.”

Okay, so Google has been processing peoples’ payments for awhile now in other areas, but for some reason, they are considered new to the game. Seriously, who doesn’t trust Google? All I know is that if Google came out with running shoes tomorrow, I would buy them because it is Google and they don’t put products out there that don’t live up to our standards.

If you are carrying around a Web enabled phone, shopping just got a whole lot easier. With this new plugin for your phone, which is free by the way, you can enter in the barcode of an item you find in the store and instantly compare online prices, access reviews, and redeem coupons.

This sounds great in theory and I would love to try it out and tell you all about it, but it doesn’t let me send it to my Verizon phone. As soon as I can get it installed, I will start using it and let you know if it is worth the time or not. However, I think it looks and sounds like a great tool so please give it a shot and let me know what you think about it.
